OH, THE PLACES YOU’LL GO…IN YOUR ART!

End of year teacher thank you’s are something I love to make, but often struggle with during the process. It’s important to me to capture something unique for each of these wonderful people transforming my little minions into enlightened learners.
I got to know our school librarians a lot this year, after school, working on those famous “AR” points. After what had to be hundreds of beginner reader books, it seemed only fitting to gift them a little bit of Dr. Seuss inspired, Mama Chickpea style, after all, he had to be, and still very much is, one of my favorite authors. I’m not sure how anyone reading his books couldn’t daydream a moment with the Lorax, a game of hide-and-seek with Thing 1 & 2, or wonder about all the wonderful places they could go.
The first of my gifts this year may end up being my favorite! After all, what librarian could resist a gift of green eggs, from two of their budding little readers? I only hope they love them as much as I do!
